Imaging Sciences, BS

Imaging sciences (BS) is a completion program which will prepare highly competent imaging practitioners for professional careers in a dynamic healthcare environment. The degree build upon the AAS degree in radiography. This baccalaureate program provides the educational foundation for registered imaging professionals to expand their career opportunities, while providing the community with quality healthcare practitioners in imaging sciences. The BSIS program allows registered imaging professionals to receive academic credit for previous radiography education and experience. At the professional level, the baccalaureate degree in imaging sciences will integrate liberal arts and imaging sciences education to foster critical thinking, human diversity, written and oral communication, and leadership in a collaborative and interdisciplinary mode.
