Provides rehearsal and performance experiences for woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians in a large-group setting. Repertoire includes literature representing many traditional and contemporary styles. Performances are presented regularly on campus, as well as in school and community settings. Upper-level students will be expected to demonstrate higher levels of performance as well as leadership within the ensemble.

Course is the main large ensemble for students in the bachelor of music education-instrumental degree or for students who study applied instrumental lessons in the bachelor of arts in music degree.

Prerequisite: junior standing and audition
Repeatable: May be repeated for a total of four hours.
