Provides rehearsal and performance experiences for violin, viola, cello, and string bass musicians in a large group setting. Repertoire includes literature representing many traditional and contemporary styles. Upper-level students will be expected to demonstrate higher levels of performance as well as leadership within the ensemble.

Prerequisite: Junior standing and audtion
Repeatable: May be repeated for a total of four hours
