An intense study of dramatic works, focusing on production and/or text from a specific theme or theoretical lens. Topics will vary each semester; themes may include “Theatre of the Absurd,” “Disability Studies and Drama,” “Theatrical Adaptations,” “Ecocritical Theatre,” or “Theatre and Culture.”

Prerequisite: ENGL 21143 - Introduction To Literary And Cultural Studies or THTR 36073 - Directing I or consent of instructor
Repeatable: May be repeated for a total of six hours when topics differ.
