Expands on the media explorations from GDES 22403, and emphasizes the conceptual and narrative aspects of illustration. Projects focus on communicating to specific audience through creative problem solving. Conceptual exercises foster innovation and originality. Traditional and digital media are examined for their unique illustration possibilities. Advanced drawing, design, color, and digital illustration and imaging skills required.

Prerequisite: GDES 21003 - Advanced Typography, GDES 22503 - Interactive Design, GDES 23403 - Print And Publication Design, GDES 23003 - Graphic Design, and GDES 22403 - Digital Illustration, or consent of instructor
