Traditional and modern approaches to reinforcement, punishment, generalization, discrimination, and constraints on learning are examined and evaluated.

Prerequisite: junior standing, three hours of upper level psychology courses, PSYC 26133 - Research Methods In Psychology , BIOL 10043 - Biological Science /BIOL 10031 - Biological Science Laboratory , and one of the following: ENGL 10203 - Composition II , ENGL 14343 - Honors Composition , or ENGL 24603 - Introduction to Writing Studies
