Integrates literacy instruction with online instruction in an authentic application by exploring various curriculum design models and contemporary technologies specific to literacy pedagogy. This course applies to licensure and non-licensure students who have an interest in applied literacy instruction in a classroom or professional environment.

Prerequisite: admission to the educator’s preparation program
Prerequisite or Corequisite: ENGL 21103 Introduction To Global Literature or ENGL 26503 Introduction To American Literature or ENGL 21143 Introduction To Literary And Cultural Studies or consent of the director of English teacher licensure program
