Focuses on the care of women along the health and illness continuum. Students apply the nursing process to address care of the normal pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, and women’s health issues, and healthy and high-risk newborns. This course includes 90 hours in the clinical setting.

Prerequisite: admission to BSN program and NURS 32245 Nursing Fundamentals
Prerequisite or Corequisite: NURS 33349 Adult Medical Surgical Nursing or NURS 43346 Nursing Care of the Adult II
