NURS 12105 - Nursing Concepts I

Introduces the use of critical thinking skills while learning the nursing process. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care to the adult client, focusing on assessment of the adult and demonstration of fundamental nursing skills. Students in this course will complete 60 campus lab hours.

Prerequisite: admission to the ADN program
Prerequisite or Corequisite: BIOL 24003 - Human Anatomy BIOL 24001 - Human Anatomy Laboratory CHEM 10003 - Chemical Principles CHEM 10001 - Chemical Principles Laboratory , and MATH 11103 - College Mathematics And Quantitative Literacy  or MATH 11003 - College Algebra
