Offers an in-depth examination of criminal procedure rules in relation to the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitutional Amendments. Emphasizing critical topics such as stop and frisk, arrest, use of force, searches and seizures, interrogation, confessions, and the trial process, students will analyze how these procedures impact the legal rights of individuals and the administration of justice.

Prerequisite: ENGL 10203 - Composition II  or ENGL 24603 - Introduction to Writing Studies
