MFGE 20003 - Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Offered: Spring

Addresses the use of 2D or 3D CAD system to create and dimension engineering drawings based on ASME standards, a wide range of GD&T symbols and their meaning, the importance of datum planes, and the computation of tolerance stack-ups. Measurement of parts and comparison to the GD&T information on the engineering drawing to determine if a part meets the drawing specifications. Metrology lab instruction is included. 

Prerequisite: MEEG 20041 - CAD For Engineering
