At least 40 hours must be upper level Notes - General Education Core Requirements, see General Education Core requirements section of catalog. Follow requirements with these stipulations: Laboratory science - BIOL 10043 /BIOL 10031 and PHSC 10043 /PHSC 10031 are required; social sciences - ECON 22003 and GEOG 21003 are required; humanities select one from ENGL 21103 or ENGL 26503 .
- These courses are used to determine major GPA, see Graduation Requirements section of this catalog.
- Requirements for Admission in Educator Preparation Program (EPP). Consult with faculty advisor regarding School of Education Admission requirements and for courses taken after admission to program.
- Must be admitted to the School of Education, Educator Preparation Program.
- Students must select two different concentrations (nine hours each) from the following: English - choose from ENGL 32043 , ENGL 33043 , ENGL 36643 , and ENGL 21103 or ENGL 26503 (cannot be course used to meet humanities requirement); mathematics - MATH 38073 and MATH 38473 , and either MATH 12003 or MATH 21003 ; science - chose two lecture/lab combinations from PHSC 11043 /PHSC 11031 , BIOL 24003 /BIOL 24001 , and CHEM 10003 /CHEM 10001 , and one hour of elective; social studies - CIED 40233 , and two of the following: GEOG 22203 , HIST 11103 or HIST 11203 , and HIST 21103 or HIST 21203 .
- Prior to graduation, students must demonstrate competency in financial literacy by satisfactory completion of FINN 15201 (or approved substitution) with a grade of C or better, or ascore of 70% or more on a challenge exam for FINN 15201 .
- Students will select either the licensure or non-licensure track. Licensure track requires CIED 48002 and CIED 49010 ; non-licensure track requires 12 hours of upper or lower level free electives
Students must earn a C or higher in all courses on the degree plan. Students must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA orbetter. GPA is tracked throughout the program and verified for admission into internship |
