Early Childhood Education (Non-licensure), BS

The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (BS ECE) is fully online and allows students who complete the AAS in Early Childhood Education at UAFS or an Arkansas two-year institution to transition to the completion of the BS ECE. Note: the awarded BS ECE does not lead to teacher licensure but does meet the educational requirement to enroll in the Arkansas Preschool Academies that lead to a preschool-specific teaching license.

- Requires admission to School of Education non-licensure track.
- Prior to graduation students must demonstrate competency in financial literacy by satisfactory completion of FINN 15201 (or an approved substitution) with a grade of C or better, or by a score of 70% or more on a challenge exam for FINN 15201 .
- Electives, 18 hours. At least 15 hours must be upper-level (3000-4000) courses to ensure completion of 40 upper-level hours.
