NURS 3336 - Nursing Care of the Adult I

Credit Hours: 6
Contact Hours: 4 Lecture, 6 Clinical
Offered: Fall, Spring

Provides an overview of the physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental health issues with focus on priority nursing diagnoses in the adult and geriatric population. This course includes 90 hours in the clinical setting.

Prerequisite: admission to the BSN program, and NURS 3225 Nursing Fundamentals  and PHAR 3203 Nursing Pharmacology  
Prerequisite or Corequisite: NURS 3244 - Nursing Care of Children
