NURS 3244 - Nursing Care of Children

Credit Hours: 4
Contact Hours: 2 Lecture, 6 Clinical
Offered: Fall, Spring

Focuses on the care of children along the health and illness continuum. Students apply the nursing process to address care of the well-child, child with acute, chronic, and/or life-threatening conditions. This course includes 90 hours in the clinical setting.

Prerequisite: admission to the BSN program and NURS 3225 Nursing Fundamentals  
Prerequisite or Corequisite: NURS 3336 Nursing Care of the Adult I  or NURS 3339 Adult Medical Surgical Nursing
