NURS 3339 - Adult Medical Surgical Nursing

Credit Hours: 9
Contact Hours: 5 Lecture, 12 Clinical
Offered: Spring

Focuses on care of the client’s physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental health issues, with a concentration on priority nursing diagnoses for adult and geriatric populations. This course includes 180 hours in the clinical setting.

Prerequisite: admission to the BSN program, and NURS 3225 Nursing Fundamentals  and PHAR 3203 Nursing Pharmacology  
Prerequisite or Corequisite: NURS 3234 Nursing Care of Women  and NURS 3244 Nursing Care of Children
