NURS 4453 - Community Health Nursing

Focuses on the theoretical basis of community health nursing. Students explore the role of the nurse in the community, in the care of aggregates, and populations at risk. The course includes 56.25 hours in the clinical setting.

Prerequisite: admission to BSN program and either NURS 4336 Nursing Care of the Adult II  or NURS 3339 Adult Medical Surgical Nursing  
Prerequisite or Corequisite: NURS 3454 Psychiatric Nursing
