The associate of general studies (AGS) degree allows maximum exploration of courses by the student. It is not intended for students who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree.

- Select three hours from the following:ITA 1003 , ITA 1011 , ITA 1051 , ITA 1101 , ITA 1201 , ITA 1251 , or MGMT 2103 .
- Electives. Must select college-level courses of 1000 or 2000 level (except MATH 1203 and ENGL 1201). A maximum of four, one-credit hour physical education activity courses may be applied toward graduation. A maximum of eight hours of music performance courses, music class instruction, and/or private instruction courses may be applied toward graduation requirements for non-music majors.
Prior to graduation students must demonstrate competency in financial literacy by satisfactory completion of FIN 1521 - Personal Finance Applications (or an approved substitution) with a grade of C or better, or by a score of 70% or more on a challenge exam for FIN 1521 .
